Horse camp at Twin Lakes Stable is run by an instructor with a degree in elementary education and is a full day of fun at the barn for riders of all skill levels who are school age or higher. Our day is filled with horse related games and activities, along with opportunities to get in the saddle.
No horse experience is necessary!
Our horse camps are typically made up of a mix of children who are new to Twin Lakes Stable and current lesson students looking to further their horsemanship skills.
Some horseback activities we like to do are lunge line lessons, obstacle courses, group rides, trail rides, and much more. Our activities are planned and adapted for each group of children depending on their riding experience.
Campers must bring a packed lunch, a water bottle, and extra snacks are recommended. They must also dress for the weather and come prepared to ride. For campers new to the horse world that do not have the proper attire, we will provide helmets. Jeans are a good alternative to riding pants and boots are recommended.
When the campers are not riding, they take part in games and learning experiences to further their horse knowledge. This includes topics such as breeds, colors, markings, tack and equipment, grooming, and much more!
The cost of horse one day camp is $80.00 per child and we accept payment in the form of cash, check, credit card (with fee) and PayPal. Parents must fill out and sign a waiver for all campers. Summer day camp runs on Mondays & Thursdays through most of the summer. Drop off time for camp is 10:00 am and pick up time is 3:00 pm. Before/after care available by request.
Pricing for our 2020 camps are:
**Camps are subject to a non-refundable deposit. $125 deposit for week long camps and $75 for weekend camps**

Our yoga at the barn events are always a lot of fun! Open to everyone! A great opportunity to get outside, do some yoga, sip some wine, be around horses. If it rains? No worries, there's a barn!
If you’re a horse person and not currently practicing yoga - it will help you with riding IMMENSELY! It works the same area you need for riding such as core, inner thigh, and pelvic floor. Plus it will help your mindset, focus and help you to be super calm.
